FC Cincinnati have confirmed the signing of Jurgen Locadia on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The former PSV Eindhoven striker was loaned to German side Hoffenheim for the first part of the season, but that was cut short at the end of last month.

Locadia has now completed a move to the MLS, joining FC Cincinnati, initially on a loan deal until the end of the campaign. However, there is an option to make the move permanent.

The 26-year-old will be coached by Ron Jans in America and will look to get his career back on track after difficult spells in England and Germany.
