FC Cincinnati have extended the loan of Brighton & Hove Albion striker Jurgen Locadia.

The former PSV Eindhoven forward moved to the MLS earlier this year on a loan until June, but only made two appearances before the lockdown.

FC Cincinnati has now confirmed that they have agreed a deal with Brighton to extend Locadia’s loan for another year. There is an option to make it permanent in the summer of 2021.

The MLS campaign is set to restart on the 8th of July, and he will be coached by Jaap Stam, who was recently confirmed to be the new head coach of the American side.
