FC Twente have confirmed the signing of Oriol Busquets from Barcelona on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old midfielder will arrive in the Netherlands on Wednesday after Twente director Ted van Leeuwen flew to Spain on Tuesday to complete the deal.
Van Leeuwen told the FC Twente website, “It cannot be a coincidence that on the day that a tribute is dedicated to Johan Cruijff, FC Barcelona and a Dutch club comes to an agreement with a typical product of the football philosophy of the legendary number 14.”
Busquets has made his debut for the Barcelona first-team and has a contract until 2021 at the club. There is no option to make the deal permanent in the loan agreement.
