Gregory van der Wiel has officially signed for Turkish side Fenerbahce on a four-year deal.

The right-back, who was a free agent after leaving PSG, arrived in Istanbul on Sunday and signed his contract on Monday to complete the free transfer.
Speaking to the official Fenerbahce website, van der Wiel said, “I already want to thank all Fenerbahçe fans. I look forward to taking the field in the Fenerbahce jersey and continue a successful season.”
Van der Wiel signed for PSG from Ajax in 2012 and made 132 appearances for the Parisians, but fell out of favour last season under coach Laurent Blanc. The 28-year-old now joins fellow Dutchman Robin van Persie at Feyenoord.
