Potential new Fenerbahce chairman Hulusi Belgü has promised to sign Feyenoord striker Graziano Pelle if he is elected.

pelle 3Belgü is hoping to convince fans that he is the right man for the club, and in an interview with newspaper Milliyet, he has promised to strengthen the club, who sit top of the Turkish league.

As well as Pelle, he wants to make January moves for Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott, and Benfica forward Rodrigo, and has also revealed plans for a new 75,000 seat stadium.

Pelle has netted 37 times in 39 matches since joining Feyenoord, firstly on loan, and then permanently in the summer, and is linked to a number of top European sides.

Barcelona have been credited with interest, along with English Premier League side Chelsea, who are ready to make a £6 million offer according to The Metro.

Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing a new striker, and sees Pelle as the perfect candidate to strengthen his side.

The 28 year old has recently been named captain of Feyenoord, but is suspended for three games after an attempted headbutt in his sides defeat to Heracles last weekend.
