Leroy Fer is hoping to make a permanent switch to Swansea City this summer after a successful loan spell with the club.

fer qqpprrThe Dutchman joined the Premier League club from QPR in January and became a key figure in Swansea City’s starting eleven, making eleven league appearances.

Fer spoke to the English media after Swansea’s final game of the season against Manchester City and stated that he is hoping to make a permanent move to the Liberty Stadium this summer.

He said, “The clubs have to sort it out, but I’m very happy (at Swansea).

“Hopefully in the future I can sign a deal. I want to be more and more important for Swansea because the four months went well.

“I just need to wait and hopefully I can stay in Swansea.”
