Feyenoord has confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther on loan from Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old has joined on an initial season-long loan deal but there is an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Wellenreuther played for Willem II for three years before departing for Anderlecht in 2020. He then returned to Willem II on loan last season but could not prevent their relegation.
The German will now act as the backup for Justin Bijlow, while Ofir Marciano will be the third choice.
