Feyenoord had been locked in talks with ADO Den Haag over the Rotterdam-born striker, but today they finally agreed a fee of around €1.5 million. Kramer then successfully passed his medical before signing a three-year-contract.
Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst told the Feyenoord website, “I’m glad he’s going to play for us,”
“Michiel is a player with scoring ability, and can make it very difficult for a defence due to his height and each physique.”
Kramer started his career with NAC Breda before moving to Volendam in 2009. In the Eerste Divisie, Kramer netted 39 goals in 105 league games, earning him a move to ADO Den Haag in 2013.
In two seasons with ADO Den Haag, Kramer scored 24 goals in 54 Eredivisie appearances. His 17 goals last season was the third best in the league, behind Luuk de Jong and Memphis Depay.
Great! Turning into a very good summer for Feyenoord! 1 more major target to get and we are ready to go! baring any cancelled games due to strikes etc…
PS CKR seems to be in GVB’s doghouse or at least not his fav. I think Kramer starts and 20-25 goals will not surprise me this season.
