The Rotterdam club agreed a fee of around €2.5 million with Twente earlier this week, and the Peruvian put pen to paper on his contract this evening.
Feyenoord technical manager Martin van Geel told the club’s official website, “We are delighted to have signed Renato Tapia,
“Renato is a very talented boy, who has national and international experience in spite of his tender years. A versatile player, too, although we see him first and foremost as a midfielder. That is where he will have to compete at Feyenoord.”
“We feel Renato strengthens us in both the short term and the long term. One for the future who can play immediately. We just have to wait for his work permit to be sorted out, which can take a few days. That means he will not be available and eligible for the coming matches against sc Heerenveen and ADO Den Haag.”
The 20-year-old made 31 Eredivisie appearances for Twente, scoring six times.
