Feyenoord has confirmed the signing of Francesco Antonucci from AS Monaco with the playmaker heading straight on loan to Volendam.

The 21-year-old has signed a four-year contract in Rotterdam with an option of another year. However, he will spend next season on loan with Volendam.
The Belgian spent time in Ajax’s academy before departing for AS Monaco in 2017. However, Antonucci gained no playing time in Monaco and was loaned to Volendam last season.
The midfielder impressed in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie and has now earned the move to Feyenoord, who used Volendam to structure a deal.
