Feyenoord could only draw with Sparta Rotterdam last weekend and were then held by Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.
Feyenoord dominated the first-half but they could not take their chances. Mark Diemers and Steven Berghuis both went close, but could not find the net. Before half-time, João Carlos Texeira went off injured and had to be replaced by Nicolai Jorgensen.
Five minutes into the second half, RKC stunned the visitors as Cyril Ngonge was given space to fire past Justin Bijlow.
Twelve minutes later, Jorgensen equalised on the rebound after he originally hit the post. However, he was then immediately substituted with an injury.
Ola John restored RKC’s lead with ten minutes to go after being allowed to dribble towards the box before firing past Bijlow. Four minutes later, Ridgeciano Haps saved Feyenoord’s blushes by equalising.
Despite plenty of added time, Feyenoord was unable to find the winning goal. They now sit fifth, while RKC are 11th.
