According to Algemeen Dagblad, Feyenoord are hoping to sign Franco Antonucci from AS Monaco with the help of Volendam.

The Belgian made a big impression on loan with Volendam last season but now returns to AS Monaco with little chance of playing time.

Feyenoord are hopeful of signing the attacker but want to use Volendam to complete the deal.

The Rotterdammers cannot afford to sign the 21-year-old at the moment and are hoping that Volendam can pay the first installment of the transfer fee in exchange for Antonucci playing for the club on loan. Feyenoord would then pay the rest of the fee at a later date.

The deal is not complete yet and would not be helpful for Dick Advocaat yet with the player heading to Volendam for another year.
