Feyenoord made it three wins out of three after a 1-0 victory over Heracles Almelo.

Steven Berghuis started his first game for Feyenoord after his loan from Watford and the winger went closest early on with his shot coming back off the post before Bram Castro denied Rick Karsdorp’s effort.
Heracles created chances through Thomas Bruns and Iliass Bel Hassani but it was Feyenoord who took the lead before the break with Karim El Ahmadi hammering a volley past Castro after a high ball fell into his path.
The hosts dominated possession in the second half as they searched for an equaliser but they never truly tested Brad Jones in the Feyenoord goal and despite the introduction of Vincent Vermeij late on, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side held on to take the three points.
Feyenoord are still one of three sides to maintain their 100% record, while Heracles remain on four points.
