Feyenoord have been chasing the Peruvian international for weeks, but their first bid of around €1.5 million was rejected by cash-strapped FC Twente.
Now De Telegraaf is reporting that a €2.5 million bid has been accepted, and Tapia will undergo his medical before putting pen to paper in Rotterdam.
Tapia joined Twente in 2013, with the 20-year-old going on to make 32 appearances for the club, scoring six times.
A good price for him. Good move by feyenoord-they needed to make one to send a message. Adds depth and talent to the MF and if needed the CD positions. I would have prefered Fer, but this is a good plan B. Should be an upgrade over El Ahmadi at DMF.
