According to VI the Dutch international is willing to take a pay cut in order to seal his loan move to Feyenoord and only a medical stands between him and a return to the Eredivisie.
Berghuis left AZ Alkmaar last summer to join Watford in a €6.5 million deal, but the winger has become frustrated with the lack of first team opportunities in England, and with no guarantees from the club this summer, he has decided a departure is best.
Berghuis only started one Premier League match last season, but showed his quality earlier this summer when he starred for Netherlands in their friendlies with Austria and Poland. The 24-year-old previously played for both FC Twente and AZ in the Eredivisie.
Fantastic news hopefully Edison Flores also announced this week.
About time. This is the one real hole in the starting 11-RW. The game today showed that neither BB or Toornstra are good enough at that position. Berghuis solves that issue and makes our front line really dangerous!
We lost the Johan Cruyffschaal nut of we van win the landchampionships with this guy he’s more then welkome.
