According to reports in Argentina, Feyenoord is set to sign River Plate striker Lucas Pratto on loan.

Feyenoord are keen on signing a striker in January with Nicolai Jorgensen struggling for form, while Robert Bozenik has been injured.

According to TNT Sport, Feyenoord are set to sign Lucas Pratto on loan until the end of the season. There is set to be an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.

The 32-year-old has spent most of his career in Argentina with several clubs, while he has had time in Europe with FK Lyn and Italian side Genoa. He has been with River Plate since 2018, scoring 22 times and adding 17 assists in 105 appearances for the club.
