Feyenoord capped an excellent week for the club with a simple 2-0 victory over Willem II.

After their 1-1 draw at PSV last weekend, Feyenoord booked their place in the KNVB Cup final with a 7-1 win over NAC Breda in midweek. Willem II had recorded wins over PSV and Ajax this season, but they could not cause another upset in Rotterdam.

In the 30th minute, Jens Toornstra fired in a Tyrell Malacia cross with a first time strike to open the scoring. Five minutes later, Steven Berghuis doubled the lead from the penalty spot after Dries Saddiki handled the ball.

After the break, Feyenoord took their foot off the gas a little and Robert Bozenik and Luciano Narsingh missed opportunities to add to the scoreline.

Feyenoord remains third while Willem II sits 5th.
