The 19-year-old has been constantly linked with several clubs this summer but is not yet made a decision on his future.
De Ligt is currently with the Dutch national team ahead of their UEFA Nations League clash with England and will only make a final decision after Sunday’s final or third place playoff.
Sport are reporting that five clubs are still in the race to sign the centre-back. PSG, Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus and Liverpool are all hoping that De Ligt will pick them.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have also been linked but Sport doesn’t believe they are realistic options anymore.
Man United and Juventus seem unlikely. Juventus won’t be able to match the transfer fee offered by the others and while Man United might, their reputation has as a “top club” has taken an absolute beating since SAF quit.
While he’ll have the best opportunity to win European titles at Barcelona or Liverpool, he’ll get the most money at PSG. And more crucially, so will his blood-sucking agent. So I have a very nasty feeling PSG is where he’ll end up.
