After the match Foppe de Haan told NOS,”Yes I am delighted I think I will go out to a restaurant tonight to celebrate.”

“We have made tremendous strides forward in the past few weeks and it’s important for us to start looking up the table rather than down”

It was apparent that Cambuur started the game in a fanatic way which Heerenveen were able to combat, ” I thought that we did not start the game in an aggressive enough manor and that we were careless at times in terms of not taking the chances we created.”

” I thought it was a tense game and we scored a fantastic goal though Arber Zeneli.”

“There can be no doubt that Arber Zeneli has talent I told him at half time to keep doing what he was doing and that his movement is causing their defenders problems he is a good man too that wants to work for the team.”

With Heerenveen’s up turn in form they can now start to target European football through the playoffs in the Eredivisie at the end of the season .Foppe de Haan reacted by saying “Yes we must go for it and we are beginning to grow if you look at the future and the normal one game a week we have we can train and prepare well.”

De Haan was also asked if he preferred if Cambuur stayed up or were relegated. ” I would prefer if they stayed up these are fantastic games for the people and for Friese football. This derby must continue to be played and exist and the top level of Dutch football.”
