Fortuna Sittard have confirmed the signing of Hannover 96 winger Emil Hansson on a four-year deal.

The 21-year-old is currently in Norway and will travel to the Netherlands to complete the last few details of the transfer as soon as possible.

Fortuna Sittard will pay Hannover 96 a small fee for the former Feyenoord youngster, who spent last season on loan with RKC Waalwijk.

Hansson told the club’s website, “I have always had a great time in the Netherlands and I am grateful to Fortuna Sittard for the opportunity to return to the Eredivisie. It is a club with great ambitions. I would like to be part of that. In this phase of my career I have to keep developing myself and I get that chance at Fortuna Sittard.”
