Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena, Lazio centre back Wesley Hoedt and AZ duo Dabney Dos Santos and Derrick Luckassen all picked up injuries playing for their clubs at the weekend and have withdrawn from the upcoming games against Turkey and Cyprus.
Langeler has called up three replacements with Feyenoord left back Lucas Woudenberg, Utrecht midfielder Yassin Ayoub and Basel winger Jean-Paul Boetius joining up with the squad in Zeist.
Jong Oranje face Turkey on October 6th, with the tie in Cyprus five days later. Netherlands need to win both matches if they hope to be one of the best runners-up who will go into the play-offs.
