After a two month absence due to Corona Virus, La Liga returns this week with Barcelona facing Mallorca on Saturday.
Speaking to AFP news agency, De Jong said, “It feels good to be back. I was back in the Netherlands during the lockdown. In retrospect, I am happy with that, because I could do more there than in Spain. Now I’m glad we start again. Stress? No, we are looking forward to it. It is very different. This has never happened before in football. We are going to play matches every three days, it will be tough. “
Barcelona are top and the team to beat, “The last round before we stopped we took back first place but we weren’t in our best shape.
