Earlier today, Celtic manager Neil Lennon confirmed that Frimpong was abroad negotiating with a club.
According to Daily Record and Sky Sports that club is Bayer Leverkusen, who will reportedly pay around €10 million to sign the right-back.
The 20-year-old joined Celtic from the Manchester City academy a year-and-a-half-ago. He has since made 51 appearances for the Scottish side.
Frimpong would join fellow Dutchmen Peter Bosz, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Daley Sinkgraven with Bayer Leverkusen.
