According to Leeuwarder Courant, Fulham scouts were in the stands during Heerenveen’s 2-0 loss to AZ Alkmaar. They report it was to watch right-back Milan van Ewijk.
The Premier League club is said to be very interested in signing the Netherlands international as they look for someone to compete with Kenny Tete. It is unclear whether an offer will be placed in the coming days.
The 22-year-old joined Heerenveen from ADO Den Haag in 2021 and he has made 56 appearances for the club, scoring four times and adding two assists. Van Ewijk has a deal until 2025 with Heerenveen.
