PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo has not made a decision yet on his future and may remain at the Philips Stadion for another year.

The forward has had an excellent season and is being followed by several big clubs around Europe including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Speaking to De Telegraaf, Gakpo said on his future, “Anything can happen this summer. I will now calmly compare all options and see what is best for me. Staying another year is also an option.”

The World Cup is also a consideration for Gakpo,  “It would be a shame if I went somewhere where I wouldn’t get a game at all, so that I would miss the World Cup. I’ll keep that in mind.”

Gakpo still has a contract with PSV until 2026 and staying is a good option for the winger, “I have been with PSV since I was six. I have been coming here almost every day for seventeen years. PSV is almost my second home. I also consider my love for the club in the decision I ultimately make.”
