The midfielder has agreed a contract with Galatasaray until 2018, but the club still need to agree a fee with Donk’s current side Kasimpasa. However the players agent Winny Haatrecht has told De Telegraaf that he is “99%” certain the deal will go through.
Kasimpasa are hoping for a €2 million fee, while Galatasaray are offering €1.5 million. The deal will certainly go through soon, with Galatasaray aiming to see off interest in the midfielder from China.
Donk started his career with RKC, before spells with AZ, West Brom and Club Brugge before moving to Turkey in 2013. The 29-year-old has made 76 appearances for Kasimpasa, scoring 11 times.
