Go Ahead Eagles have confirmed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella on loan until the end of the season.

The two clubs were confirmed to be in talks over the loan earlier this week, but the deal has now been secured and Chirivella will spend the rest of the season in Deventer.
Speaking to the clubs official website, technical manager Dennis Bekking said, “Pedro is in the books in England as a great talent. Not for nothing Liverpool last year extended his contract until 2020. We are very pleased to add a player with his qualities to our selection.”
Chirivella himself added, “What can fans expect from me? A technical player, who rarely loses the ball.”
The 19-year-old signed for Liverpool from Valencia in 2015 and has made five appearances for the club’s first team. He becomes Go Ahead Eagles third signing in January after the loan deals for Elvis Manu and Daniel Crowley.
