Go Ahead Eagles against Cambuur ended in a disappointing 0-0 draw on Sunday.

Go Ahead went into the game having taken seven points from their last three matches, while Cambuur had just hammered PSV 3-0.

Cambuur came close to the lead early on with Remko Balk hammering a strike against the crossbar.

Before the break, Isac Lidberg had the chance to make it 1-0 for the hosts, but his header was straight at goalkeeper João Virgínia.

After the break, Go Ahead Eagles had the biggest chance when Oliver Edvardsen raced in on goal but Virginia denied the attacker.

The point means Go Ahead is in 12th, while Cambuur is one spot behind them.
