The 18-year-old is highly regarded in Alkmaar and has so far made three appearances in the first-team.
The midfielder’s deal was set to expire this summer, but AZ have made sure their star doesn’t leave and have tied him down until 2024.
Goudmijn told the club’s website, “It is nice to renew my contract with the club for which I have played for so long. I am happy that there will be another four years, because I feel good at AZ. This new contract also expresses confidence from the club. Next season I hope to make further steps in AZ first-team and to play in the Eredivisie as much as possible.
The Netherlands U19 international made 22 appearances for Jong AZ last season, providing three assists.
