Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch finished 8th in the running for the Kepa Trophy on Monday evening.

The award is presented by France Football to honour the biggest talent of the year and it was taken home by Barcelona midfielder Pedri.

Ryan Gravenberch was the only Dutchman in the top ten but the Ajax star finished 8th in the running. The 19-year-old has established himself as a key player for Ajax over the past 12 months while also making his Netherlands debut.

The award was last won by Matthijs de Ligt in 2019 with last year’s ceremony being cancelled due to covid 19.
