The 18-year-old was coming into the last year of his contract in Amsterdam, and reports in Italy had claimed that Mino Raiola was offering the midfielder to several top Serie A clubs.
However, Ajax have now confirmed that Gravenberch has signed a new deal, keeping him tied to the club until 2023.
He told the Ajax website, “I’ve been asked about it many times in the past few months, but I’ve always told the people around me that I want to stay here.”
Gravenberch made his debut for Ajax back in 2018 and has so far made 18 appearances for the club.
