Groningen have unveiled the signing of Ajax midfielder Azor Matisuwa and NAC Breda winger Ramon Pascal Lundqvist.

Ludqvist only joined NAC from PSV Eindhoven in January but couldn’t help them prevent their relegation. The 22-year-old has now joined Groningen on a four-year deal.

Matisuwa was loaned to De Graafschap from Ajax last season but despite playing well in Doetinchem he was told to find a new club. Groningen have now snapped up the 21-year-old defensive midfielder.

Groningen now have four new players this summer after the free transfer of Mo El Hankouri from Feyenoord and the arrival of attacker Gabriel Gudmundsson.
