linssesLinssen comes in from fellow Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo, and will sign a three-year deal. Meanwhile Tamata signs on for two years, with an option for a further year, from champions PSV.

Forward Linssen says he’s really looking forward to this season, pointing out Europa League football as a main reason for joining the Dutch Cup winners. The 24 year old has impressed repeatedly for Heracles over the past two seasons, scoring 21 goals in his time in Almelo.

The winger could be a potential replacement for Tjaronn Chery, who was linked with a move to Premier League club Aston Villa over the weekend.

Left-back Tamata, also 24, will primarily give competition at left-back for Yoell van Nieff. He is a product of PSV’s academy, but has also played for Roda JC on loan in the 2012-13 season.

Groningen’s technical director Peter Jeltema says that after signing these two players, the team’s squad is complete ahead of the new season.
