Eric Gudde has been officially confirmed as the new director of football at the KNVB.

The current general manager at Feyenoord will officially start his new position on the 7th of November.
“This is a wonderful and honorable position in a great organization,” said Gudde in an official statement. “Together with all football clubs, referees, coaches and players, the KNVB has the task of bringing Dutch football forward and, more importantly, bringing it more together. A solid challenge, I like to work with the staff. I look forward to starting work in Zeist in November, but until the end of this month, my full attention is on Feyenoord. ”
The appointment means the KNVB is finally moving forward after the departures of former director of football Bert van Oostveen and technical director Hans van Breukelen.
