AZ Alkmaar midfielder Guus Til spoke to the NOS after scoring both goals in the 2-1 away win against SC Heerenveen.

AZ Alkmaar have invested heavily in their youth teams in recent years and Til was one of five players from their academy in their starting lineup against SC Heerenveen.
Til said, ”The atmosphere in the changing room is fantastic after the victory.
”We did not start well and we improved in the second half and were the better team. I believe that we deserved our victory.
”I am satisfied with my two goals. I played as a number 10. It was not my best well game but I scored two goals.
”We are doing well at AZ Alkmaar with 5 players in the starting lineup that came from our own youth teams.
”I enjoyed playing with my young teammates because we all know each other having played with each other in the youth teams in the past.
”We do a lot of power training at the club even in the youth teams hence why we can cope with physical opponents at a young age.”
