ziyech-celtZiyech said on his time with Ajax so far, ” I am happy here in Amsterdam at Ajax. There is indeed a big difference between the level of Ajax and FC Twente. The competition for places is very fierce at Ajax and I have to work harder here than at FC Twente.

”In the league, I have only scored 3 goals. I have missed chances and I will be the first to admit that I need to improve. If it is necessary I speak to Peter Bosz but I of the opinion that actions speak louder than words. But if something needs to be said I will say it.

On his decision to join Ajax instead of PSV he added, ”When making a decision about your future transfer wise it is important to have good people around you and in such a situation I assess my options and make the right choice ”.

”Ajax was the best step after FC Twente. It’s true that I spoke with PSV but the plan of a club and what they want to achieve is very important. If they cannot sell it to me then that is that.

”Ajax gave my the feeling that I would be their midfield man and that I would be able to develop from there. I spoke with Peter Bosz and he wants me to become a complete footballer.

”It’s important to always feel wanted by a manager and a club during a possible transfer and that was not the case when I spoke to PSV.”
