Utrecht General manager Wilco van Schaik has revealed that Sebastien Haller rejected a big money move to China in January.

Van Schaik was a guest on Fox Sports Tafel met Kees on Sunday, and was asked about the January interest in his French striker.
The Utrecht general manager revealed that they received offer’s from China and the Premier League, but Haller decided to remain in Netherlands.
Van Schaik said, “There was only informed offers from abroad, particularly from the Premier League and most recently from China.
“As for China, then you’re talking about amounts of twelve, thirteen million. That’s not a bad offer for Utrecht and in my heart I wanted to go there, of course, agree.
“But I think it’s beautiful how Haller explains what steps he wants to make. This kid does not just go to any club.”
Van Schaik confirmed that Norwich City was the most concrete club from the Premier League.
