Luuk de Jong could be heading back to the Bundesliga with Hannover 96 reportedly eyeing a deal for the PSV Eindhoven captain.

Hannover 96’s top priority is Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah, but he has a lucrative contract in China with Liaoning FC until 2019.

Kicker.de is reporting that the Bundesliga side may now switch their attention to PSV’s Luuk de Jong, with the striker’s agent telling the website, “A transfer is always possible.”

The 26-year-old would reportedly cost Hannover 96 €10 million with his contract still running in Eindhoven until 2020.

De Jong joined PSV three years ago and has gone on to score 67 times in 126 games, lifting the Eredivisie title on two occasions. From 2012 to 2014, De Jong played in the Bundesliga at Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he only netted eight times in 45 games.
