The 25 year old forward has signed a three year deal at the club, who finished 15th in the Bundesliga, after completing his medical on Thursday.
This is what the former AZ Alkmaar man had to say about his move to the club’s official website, “I’m really looking forward to playing for Hannover, here I’ll have the chance to keep developing and to establish myself in the Bundesliga.”
And this is what a delighted Sporting director Dirk Dufner had to say, “We’re getting a highly-promising attacking option in Charlison. He’s shown his qualities and ability to assert himself at Düsseldorf and we’re very happy he’s decided to join Hannover 96.”
Benschop had scored 25 league goals for Dusseldorf in 58 appearances.
