Danish goalkeeper Martin Hansen has left ADO Den Haag to sign for German Bundesliga side Ingolstadt.

hansen adoA fee of around €1 million has been agreed between the clubs, and Hansen has signed a four-year-deal with Ingolstadt, who finished 11th in the Bundesliga last season.

Hansen told the official ADO Den Haag site, “Ingolstadt is a young club that is evolving and had a sensational debut season in the Bundesliga. I am proud that I am a member of the Schanzer and look forward to getting to know the team. We face a huge challenge in the Bundesliga and we will engage diligently. ”

The 26-year-old, who has enjoyed spells with Brondby and Liverpool, joined ADO Den Haag in 2014 and has played 65 league games for the club in two-years. He will be fondly remembered for scoring a injury time leveller against PSV Eindhoven last season.
