larsson-heedAjax boss Peter Bosz has already confirmed that the club are on the lookout for a new winger this month with Bertrand Traore heading to the African Cup of nations and Anwar El Ghazi linked with a move away.

According to Voetbal International, Ajax’s scouts have been targeting the South American region in order to find talent and have earmarked a so far unnamed Brazilian attacker who is their primary target. However, should they fail to sign the Brazilian they will turn their attention to the Eredivisie and Heerenveen winger Sam Larsson.

The Swedish winger has been itching to leave Heerenveen since the summer, and has already seen a move to Italian side Sassuolo fall through.

Another transfer target for the Amsterdam club is apparently AZ Alkmaar left back Riedgeciano Haps, who has been a revelation so far this season. Bosz is seemingly unconvinced on Mitchell Dijks at wing back and has been playing midfielder Daley Sinkgraven on the left of his back four since the start of the season. Haps could arrive to take over and provide more solidity to the clubs defence.
