Dalgaard joined from Viborg last summer as a replacement for Alfred Finnbogason, but he has failed to break into the first team and in nine league appearances the striker has failed to score a single goal. The Dane has a contract until 2017 but will join Odense on loan until the end of the season.
Dalgaard will be replaced by 23-year-old Veerman, who has been in great form for Volendam this season, scoring 16 goals in 21 appearances. The tall striker has signed a two-and-a-half year deal in Friesland.
Earlier today Heerenveen also completed the signing of Ajax defender Robert van Koesveld until mid 2017 after the contract of Jukka Raitala was dissolved. The 20-year-old has not made a first team appearance in Amsterdam, but has played six times for Jong Ajax this season.
