Heerenveen are set to complete the signing of De Graafschap left back Caner Cavlan.

The Frisians have beaten off competition from Utrecht and AZ Alkmaar to land the 23-year-old, who will put pen to paper on a three-year-deal with the option of a further two years. Heerenveen are set to pay €300,000 for Cavlan.
Speaking to Voetbal International, Cavlan said, “A great step for me and the reward for the development I’ve gone through with De Graafschap,”
“Of course it was a very nice compliment that i had such clubs interested. With Heerenveen I chose a club where I can develop myself well. ”
Cavlan had been with De Graafschap for five years, making 47 league appearances and scoring seven goals.
