According to De Telegraaf, Heerenveen have rejected a bid from La Liga side Celta Vigo for winger Sam Larsson. 

The Spaniards have reportedly lodged a bid of between four and five million Euros for the Swedish international, but that is still far away from Heerenveen’s asking price of €8 million.

Larsson wants to move away from Friesland this summer, and Heerenveen are willing to sell their star player, but only if they receive a bid which matches their valuation of the 24-year-old.

For now, Larsson, who netted nine goals and added twelve assists last season, can only wait to see if Celta Vigo ups their offer.
