abe lensShould the takeover happen Heerenveen will become the second Eredivisie club to be taken over by the Chinese after ADO Den Haag’s purchase earlier this year.

BSIM is looking to gain a foothold in Europe having previously financed many projects in Africa.

People at the club are divided about the takeover though with many feeling that it could be similar to the one at Den Haag while others thinking it is required to deal with the financial peril the club is in.
