SC Heerenveen are set to be probed over the vile songs sung by home fans about the mother of referee Kevin Blom during last weeks match against PSV Eindhoven.

The referee had sent off Stefano Marzo in a 1-0 win for the Frisians at the Abe Lenstra Stadium.
Although calm returned after the half time it is still not enough to ward of a probe and the club have to come up with a defense by October 15.
The investigators are looking at answers to two specific questions; i.e. what the club could have done to prevent chants before and during the game and what has club done to identify the perpetrators and punish them.
