Serie A side Hellas Verona have announced the signing of Dutch midfielder Urby Emanuelson.

Emanuelson has been a free agent ever since leaving Atalanta at the end of last season, but Hellas Verona have announced that the 29-year-old will join the club on Wednesday.
The club, that currently sit bottom of the Serie A table, have stated through their website that Emanuelson will undergo medical tests before signing a contract.
Emanuelson, who can play on the left hand side of defence or midfield, started his career with Ajax before spells with AC Milan, Roma and Atalanta.
