Heracles came from behind to beat Utrecht 2-1 in Almelo thanks to a last minute goal from Thomas Bruns.

The visitors made the stronger start and on 26 minutes they took the lead. Gyrano Kerk’s initial effort was saved by Bram Castro, but Yassin Ayoub was on hand to net. Utrecht could have added further goals before the break, but Castro denied both Nacer Barazite and  Sofyan Amrabat.

Heracles came out after the break a much different side and they quickly equalised when Brandley Kuwas brilliantly controlled a long ball forward before slotting into the net. The hosts then snatched all three points at the death through Bruns who saw his first effort saved by David Jensen before heading in the rebound.

The win lifts Heracles up to 9th while Utrecht remain 4th.
