blindoralatAfter 20 minutes the Manchester United star was left clasping his knee when Latvian player Edward Višņakovs fell on top of him, and Blind was replaced by Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie.

Asked about the midfielder after the match coach Guus Hiddink gave a grim diagnosis, “It does not look so good”

“i think its his medial ligament. It could be a strain or a tear.”

Blind will undergo more tests on Monday before the extent of the damage is known, but the midfielder is almost certain to miss Manchester United’s trip to Arsenal next Saturday. NOS are reporting that Blind could be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.
