Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of Dutch forward Jurgen Locadia on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The forward joined Brighton from PSV Eindhoven back in 2018 but has struggled to make an impact in England.

Locadia has now moved to Hoffenheim on a season-long loan deal and will be coached by Dutchman Alfred Schreuder. He is the replacement for Joelinton, who joined Newcastle United this summer.

The 25-year-old made 43 appearances for Brighton, scoring six times.
